Its all about the fries

Last night, we 3 Chicks found ourselves at Marlow's Tavern in Midtown. Maybe one day we will actually do a real review, but I just need to let the world know about their Truffled Parmesan fries. They were heaven in a cup. No, really. I don't think I've ever had fries that good. The menu describes them as “Hand Cut” Tavern Fries with Truffle Oil and Fresh Parmesan. (They need to add "Love" to that list of ingredients.) I've been daydreaming about them all day.

As you may already know, Lola closed down at the start of the New Year (and if you've ever sat through the 10-minute monologue the waiters give you at the beginning of your meal, you certainly understand why)… But when one door closes, another one opens, and Cantina Taqueria and Tequila Bar is having their grand opening next week! According to Open Table, this new spot has a 5lb burrito challenge, $2 Tuesday Taco Night, Buck Wild Wednesdays and Disco Thursdays.
